As an Outfitter, I’ll work with you to help build a trip with your best interests in mind.

Decades of fly fishing and guiding experience across Montana and North America, combined with an attention to detail on customer service help us provide you with a great trip and experience. We spend nearly every day between March and October fishing the rivers of western Montana, and have spent thousands of days on the water over the years fishing with people from all over the country.

Our expertise is your advantage as we know how to adjust to certain water conditions, weather conditions, hatches, and times of year to best suit your experience.   I had a great day the Missouri River with Trevor @ Montana Guiding Company. First time I had fished with him, and his coaching was excellent and helped me make the casts I needed to catch fish. I learned a lot, and we caught tons of fish!

  Great experience with Montana Guiding Company.  I have used 3 outfitters in Missoula area.  This one is the best.  Good river knowledge.  The beginner I brought with me caught 20+ each day. We caught lots of fish.  Mostly 16"-22" Picked us up at hotel each day.  No need to rent a car.  I'm coming back to Montana Guiding Company.

  I recently had the pleasure of going on a fishing trip guided by Trevor @Montana Guiding Company and it was an experience to remember. From start to finish, everything was well-organized and exceeded my expectations.  Trevor is the best fishing guide you will find so I wouldn't recommend going elsewhere. He is knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about fishing, which made the whole experience enjoyable even in the cold rain.  Throughout the trip, Trevor would share valuable insights about the local fishing spots and techniques to improve my fly fishing.
The highlight of the trip was the fishing itself. With Trevor's guidance, we caught loads of fish, including some big ones, and had a great time in the process.

  Amazing day!!!  Caught huge rainbow and brown trout along with cutthroats.  Really saw lots of activity!  Bob the Guide was excellent - instructed the newbie well and guided us to where the fish were!  Looking forward to coming back and fishing with them again.

  My son and I had an amazing 2 days of fishing with Montana Guiding Company. We fished 2 rivers with 2 different guides.  Both guides were patient and very eager to teach the techniques we needed to put fish in the boat.  It paid off big time. Caught lots of trout each day! Montana Guiding Company created a great experience for us. We will definitely be back.

  Had a great trip with Montana Guiding Company last Friday. Had a crazy work schedule and Trevor was able to connect me with one of his guides for a great late afternoon trip. It was cool and windy, but we had a great afternoon. Luke was a great guide and put me on the fish. Caught four species of trout and some 18-20 inch fish. Will definitely give Trevor a call next time I am in Missoula!

  Trevor was fantastic.  It was my first time on a river float and I caught a ton of fish, admired the wildlife and had a wonderful time in general.   Highly recommend Trevor.
